SATF invests in Stock Market either by participating in IPO or in Secondary Market. Investments decisions in this category are reached after assessing the future market situation of the shares to be purchased. The Fund reviews Equity investment portfolio on quarterly basis to assess performance of shares in the market to enable rational Disposal and Acquisition decisions for return maximization.

Producers, Marketers and Distributors of malt beer in Tanzania. TBL was the second company listed in the DSE and SATF has invested TShs 11.6bil in equity shares of the company.
It is located at PongweTanga, and its principal activity is the manufacturing, sale, and marketing cement throughout Tanzania and East Africa. SATF has invested TShs 736.5m in equity shares of the company.
Deals with ground handling services at Julius Nyerere and Kilimanjaro International Airports. In 2003, the company listed its shares at DSE. SATF invested TShs.1.79bil in the shares of the company acquired through the secondary market.
DCB Commercial Bank Plc (DCB) was registered as a Limited Company on 6th September 2001. In April 2002, DCB started business as a regional microfinance institution. On 12 June 2003 the bank was issued with a licence to carry out banking business as Dar es Salaam Community Bank Limited. In 2005, after only 3 years of its operation, DCB broke-even. In 2008, DCB became the first bank in Tanzania to be listed to Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange (DSE). SATF has invested TShs. 95.2m in equity shares of the company.
This is a local bank previously owned by the Government. Later on the Government decided to sale a large chunk of its shares to other investors. SATF has invested TShs. 1.1bil in equity shares of the company.
